{"id":14540,"date":"2013-08-12T06:09:58","date_gmt":"2013-08-12T04:09:58","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/beconfident.beconfident.hemsida.eu\/emmi-dent-beconfident-true\/"},"modified":"2013-08-12T06:09:58","modified_gmt":"2013-08-12T04:09:58","slug":"emmi-dent-beconfident-true","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/beconfident.com\/it\/emmi-dent-beconfident-true\/","title":{"rendered":"Emmi-Dent + BeconfiDent = True"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Peer Blumenschein, CEO of Emmi-Tech, Inc., recently spoke with Fox News Health about a new technology that is changing the way we brush our teeth \u2013 the Emmi-Dent Ultrasonic Toothbrush.<br \/><iframe loading=\"lazy\" src=\"http:\/\/www.emmi-dent.com\/media\/video\/video.mp4\" width=\"620\" height=\"240\" frameborder=\"0\"><\/iframe>\u201cIt\u2019s a new device,\u201d Blumenschein said, \u201c\u2026and it\u2019s the first toothbrush which runs 100 percent on ultrasound, so the ultrasound cleans. \u00a0You do not have to brush \u2013 so it\u2019s a \u2018no brushing\u2019 toothbrush.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The toothbrush \u2013 modeled after the average dental teeth cleaning &#8211; uses devices with ultrasonic power to break down tartar. \u00a0But unlike conventional cleanings, the Emmi-Dent brush utilizes microwaves with significantly less power.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIt\u2019s just enough to kill the bacteria in your mouth \u2013 in your gums, on the teeth \u2013 so that you don\u2019t destroy the teeth or the enamel and basically don\u2019t harm your oral system,\u201d Blumenschein said.<\/p>\n<p>According to Blumenschein, the Emmi-Dent brush is superior to other run-of-the-mill toothbrushes, because it is much more thorough. \u00a0He said that brushes with bristles are only scraping away bacteria, but some of the bacteria resides on the brush and aren\u2019t completely gone.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWith the ultrasound, you have so much energy that is basically destroying the membranes of the bacteria,\u201d Blumenschein, \u201cand therefore they are completely destroyed and disappear\u2026into thousands of small pieces.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The brush\u2019s technique has been confirmed by numerous European studies, and Blumenschein said the company has received nothing but positive feedback from dentists.
